Houston Nutt Fired: A Country Fun name doesn’t mean your job is secure.
Florida State backup QB Clint Trickett may well have the most country fun name among active players in college football, but surely Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt led the way among coaches. Unfortunately, Nutt was reportedly fired today by the University of Mississippi after another disappointing season in Oxford. Sorry, coach. Just because your name screams “Country Fun!” doesn’t mean you’ll keep your job.
